Nuisance postings

The BBC has been forced to publish the minutes of the Governors'meeting which sacked Greg Dyke. It is rivetting stuff. It shows, among other things:

Marmaduke Hussey dies

Perhaps the most controversial of all BBC Chairmen, Marmaduke Hussey, has died at the age of 83. He was in charge of the Corporation from 1986 to 1996 - and was most famous for sacking Alasdair Milne and bringing in John Birt. Read the published obituaries, ranging from the generous to the savage.
