The BBC has been forced to publish the minutes of the Governors'meeting which sacked Greg Dyke. It is rivetting stuff. It shows, among other things:
Perhaps the most controversial of all BBC Chairmen, Marmaduke Hussey, has died at the age of 83. He was in charge of the Corporation from 1986 to 1996 - and was most famous for sacking Alasdair Milne and bringing in John Birt. Read the published obituaries, ranging from the generous to the savage. Some recent deaths:
Cormac Rigby, Head of Presentation, Radio 3. See the full list of more than 200 obituaries.
