The RPI for December, which is used for calculating the pension increase, was 1.2%

Indeed-and for those also in receipt of a state pension-this I believe rises by 2.5% in april

The RPI for December 2021 was 7.5%.
So the Pension increase for April 2022 should be the same, I hope?
That might help with the energy bills!

I wonder if the BBC will ask the trustees to do a state pension on it and not pay the full 7.5%? Voluntarily of course.
