Hello

I'm trying to find out some more information about a Manchester-based radio producer called Brian Blake.

He was a staff producer from the late-50s until the mid-60s. He produced mainly for the Home Service, but also for the Third Programme, notably a very striking programme called Portrait of a Young Girl in 1963, which was turned into a book of the same name.

He continued to work for the BBC after the mid-1960s in a freelance capacity. One thing he did after that was a Radio 4 programme about computers, co-produced with Keith Hindell, in the early 1970s.

If anyone has any information about Brian Blake i'd be very grateful.
