Considering cashing in your BBC pension? READ ON

If you don’t go to a real expert on the subject, you can expect to pay at least a third of your pension pot in tax.
I am in the process of doing this and initially took the free advice from Workplace Solutions, who the BBC commissioned to manage this.
The advisor appointed to manage my case offered poor advice (in my opinion), so I ended up dealing with a more experienced colleague, but much time was wasted and I needed to work with a company who could act quickly and efficiently, so I went elsewhere at my own cost.
The reason for this, is because I wanted to split my pay outs over two financial years to pay less tax.  Added to this I needed the first instalment to be paid this year as I was a student, so didn’t have earnings that would be added to the taxable total.
I found a firm who managed to get the process sorted in time, however I have subsequently discovered another company who are experts in all the new pension policies and taxes.  They specialise in trust investments and had I gone with them, I would have saved many thousands of pounds.
If you would like the contact details get in touch and I will be happy to help.
