The Trust makes the following points very clear:-

"If The BBC is to deliver on its mission and its purposes, a critical ingredient is confidence".

"The Charter debate must include the voices of all the people who pay for the BBC".

"The BBC doesn't belong to the state... the BBC should be kept out of politics as far as possible".
