Ofcom has released their latest report.
"News consumption in the UK: Research report. 25th June 2014"

It is a sequence of slides.
Figure 11 makes interesting reading:-

In answer to Question (5a-e) "Thinking specifically about -source- which of the following do you use for news nowadays?"
All adults over 16 ( 2,731).


It claims:-
1. BBC One (53%)
2. ITV (33%)
3. BBC News Website (24%)
4. Sky News Channel (17%)
5. BBC News Channel (16%)


Figure 13 compares cross-platform audience reach, comparing broadcast and print.
