Harold Eckersley, an OB engineer for the North region, died on February 14th.  He was 84.

As a Senior  Supervisor he was responsible for conference coverage from Blackpool  and other locations as well as major sporting events such as Aintree and the Grand National.

There are many reporters and journalists from all over the country who  will remember his professionalism as he dedicated himself to "OBs".
