Ray Davies, for many years a radio current affairs producer at Broadcasting House, has died.  He worked on the World at One in its early days.  Later he went to Newsdesk, the Radio 4 sequence programme that went out at 7pm, as a duty editor.  He was married to the TV producer Pat Owtram.
