"An unknown number of radio studios and offices still used by BBC local radio stations across England are being closed under the latest plans for the BBC to cut costs".  This recent got me thinking.  Were any well-known, or there for a specific reason i.e. near a royal residence or sports venue?  Does Wood Norton now close?  Were they situated in cupboards, under stairs, or rooms in council offices?  What about Scotland, Wales, NI?  Any stories you have would be welcomed before they finally go, and with it our knowledge of them.
