Sad to report that Tom Beesley, well known for his various roles in local; radio and regional TV in the Midlands, died last night. He had not been in good health for a while and at one stage was using a wheelchair. His son tells me that he had had a few falls recently but seemed to be bouncing back. RIP Tom.
