News Consumption Survey
Feb 7th, 2020, 10:58pm

A study was commissioned by the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism to understand how news was consumed during the 2019 UK General Election campaign. It looked at all forms of news, TV, Radio, on-line, Social Media, Print etc...

The dominance of the BBC News Service is noted throughout the report.

The document may be read in full, here.

Figure 14 illustrates "Hour by hour consumption of news websites for election results "

Figure 25 illustrates the "Proportion that think each outlet did a good job of covering the election".
