When dresser Carl Levey lost his lifelong partner Bob Eltringham earlier his year, a light went out of his life and he slowly withdrew, despite being well looked after in a care home. Carl and Bob met as ice skaters in their teens, and performed regularly in many big ice shows before joining the BBC Costume Department as Dressers.

Carl's funeral is taking place on
