Professor Richard Sambrook is now director of the Centre for Journalism at Cardiff University.

Richard started in BBC Local Radio and left (about 30 years later) having been head of BBC Sport, director of News and finally head of World Service.

In this hour-long audio interview by Paul Blanchard for "Media Masters", Richard talks about the Hutton Enquiry, Journalists's safety, the opening of BBC Radio Fivelive, and his present post at Cardiff University.

Press freedom and "Fake News" is also discussed.
