An insight into the new ways of recording location sound- there is no other anymore- Kevin Hilton interviews the current 'location sound-man' - Deian Humphreys, here.
It is a little more complicated when compared to using two Fisher Booms (the technique is illustrated by this (US) video), in a TV Centre Studio, in one day, direct to Ampex 2" VT. Two booms, and some ¼" Tape as needed.
