USA opinion
Apr 18th, 2015, 1:25pm

Adam Buckman has expressed his opinion of BBC World News, from an American viewer's point-of-view.

Adam writes here, in Mediapost, that "For us, a nightly compendium of news such as the one offered on “BBC World News” is really all we need.

Here in New York, we get our nightly news fix at 11 p.m. weeknights when “BBC World News,” anchored by the impeccable Mike Embley, airs on one of our local public TV stations, WLIW/Ch. 21 (out of Long Island).

If you’re not watching “BBC World News,” then you’re not watching news."

(Adam Beckman is one of the nation's premiere chroniclers of the TV business -- a columnist, editor and reporter who has written about TV for 30 years, including 18 years as TV columnist and TV editor at the New York Post.)
