Strictly News?
Dec 26th, 2014, 2:56pm

"The Daily Mirror", in line with several other periodicals, has featured a short sequence from "The News Channel".

They are presently running a poll, asking if BBC Staff should be punished for dancing around the newsroom Christmas Tree.

"If I want dancing, I'll watch Strictly Come Dancing"

The article and poll may be found here, probably for a short time.

Here, courtesy of WDR, is an alternative view.

Meanwhile "The Daily Mail" takes another view with their headline:- "Red faced BBC staff caught on camera...."
Red faces, probably due to the exertion?

Perhaps we should ask of 'The Daily Mail' (and any others so motivated) just what festive enjoyments their journalists partook of - and how long they lasted as well as how much they cost. [Anyone up for a 'Freedom of Information' request?]

I have never heard such rubbish in all my life. Surely it points to the humanity of the staff, rather than the automatons which they perhaps assume put out broadly the best news coverage to be found anywhere in the world.

1. 95% poll FOR the jape.
2. The youtube footage clearly shows one man, with a headset on, cueing the start.  So, as we all knew, it was a staged funny!
3. The newsroom know when they're on the air; so hardly likely to be unplanned.

So well done to the crew for the giggle.

and I take no notice of the daily wail.

The fact that the BBC News bulletins and apps have hardly changed since 23/12 proves that there is not only much news about-but certainly no news management -thus staff had plenty of time on their hands......?
