The Guardian reports here that The BBC's former chief technology officer (John Linwood) was unfairly dismissed after the £100 Digital Media Initiative fiasco.

The report contains some interesting exchanges of emails.

The verdict did say that John Linwood had contributed "to the extent of 15%" to his own dismissal, and that two other complaints made by him were rejected.

The tribunal was 'scathing' of the BBC's disciplinary procedures.
