Clive Jacobs
Jun 20th, 2014, 1:59pm

Clive Jacobs, who worked in regional and national newsrooms before becoming a presenter, has died at his home in France.  He was 75.

Clive started his BBC career on the "South Today" program from BBC Southampton. He went on to work on the "Nationwide" program from Lime Grove. He did a spell of newsreading on the BBC 2 News too. He is perhaps better remembered for working on "Going Places" with his producer Irene Mallis (now Randall), and "Sunday" on Radio 4.

The funeral will be held on Monday, 23rd of June 2014 in Bourgounet, France. A memorial Church service will follow at 1600 hours in Ferrensac, France. Condolences and any correspondences to the Jacobs family can be sent to blair@blairjacobs.co.uk
