Did you work with AJP Taylor, the telly Don?
Jan 12th, 2014, 9:34pm

A friend of mine, Dan Taylor, is the youngest son of the famous historian AJP Taylor, who was known as the telly Don. Dan is researching his father's role in broadcasting from the 1950s onwards - pioneering the broadcasting of history on TV. It is an aspect of AJP's life which has had relatively little attention in his various biographies. Did you ever work with AJP Taylor on his televised history lectures? Do you know of any former friends and colleagues who did? Dan would like to talk to them for their views and memories. Do drop me a line at ian@ipollock.co.uk. Many thanks.
