Radio News and Current affairs Christmas party
Oct 16th, 2013, 3:12pm

Come and chat to your old friends and yarn about the old days of the BBC over a pint, a glass of wine or even something stronger at the Calthorpe Arms, Grays Inn road, on Wednesday December 11th - upstairs room from noon till 4pm. Nearest tube stations are Chancery Lane and Russell Square. It is a long way down the road - number 252 - but the trip will be well worth it. With luck and the largesse of our absent benefactor, Larry Hodgson, there should be a FREE buffet alongside the pay bar.
This annual event was originally a BH Newsroom gathering, but has widened over the years to include ex-reporters and correspondents, News Traffic and notables from Today, World Tonight, Newsbeat etc.
Even some TV and Bush House hands have been known to turn up.  All welcome in fact so come along and join us. Wives and girl friends always welcome too.
Joint organisers: Barry Rocard and Alan Ashton.
