This is fine if it corresponds with an accompanying steep rise in Salford viewing figures.
Does it?

Watched this morning Breakfast and in the 1 1/2 hours there were 5 down the line from London plus 2 people on the sofa.1 from a Lancashire school and one plugging a book and probaly paid for the "honour" as he was London based.

Breakfast TV is a truly dreadful programme now.News items in particular are often headlined WAY AFTER those broadcast by Sky News   or even the Radio 4 Today prog...perhaps they wait till they hear what's broadcast from London and hope viewers won't notice?
As for the weather--for heaven's sake stop wasting time telling us what has happend in the last 24 hours and focus on the future day ahead'
In summary-who on earth watches this programme? the answer must be people with only one channel available to them?

Agreed. It sometimes (especially at weekends) has the feel of a regional opt-out about it. Their reliance upon local vox-pops and guests is beginning to grate.
