HS2 extends.
So by 2032 Salford will be only an hour and a bit from London. Breakfast on BBC1 and live discussions on 5 Live will benefit from much easier contribution from guests who live and work in the Metropolis.  I wonder if the next DG can wait that long before reversing the recent exodus.
