BBC World News and bbc.com/news come together today to form a new company in a move which could boost budgets across BBC News.


The company's 70 staff will soon be co-sited at New Broadcasting House. The 24-hour international news tv channel, currently based at Television Centre, will join the international web operation in W1 from November when it will begin broadcasting live from the new studios.

"BBC World News has launched an HD feed for the Asia-Pacific region as the venture prepares to bring together its TV and digital news operations together in a new multimedia newsroom.
The commercial activities are moving into the BBC’s new Broadcasting House facility in central London, where all of its news operations will be cited........"
