Members of the forum might be interested to know that the Alexandra Palace Television Society has been awarded the Shiers Trust Grant of £1300 for 2012.

The award is to fund a digitisation project to enable an electronic copy of Birkinshaw's famous "Black Book" to be made available in electronic form.

The APTS Archive is fortunate to have four copies of the technical manual, all issued in different years, thus ensuring All amendments can be digitised.

This project has the full support of BBC History Department & should be available for interested individuals and/or organisations the the latter part of 2013.
