Two issues here. One--it is fatuous nonsense to suggest that Children's programming is being "dropped", when for a large proportion of the day it is available on 2 digital channels, accessible to 100% of all UK viewers.

Second-surely it is time for the BBC start to move towards a dedicated Sports Channel?
It's too late for the Olympics. Thus - I suppose we must be prepared for an event that will stretch schedulers like nothing before as they dance programming around, irritating viewers of ALL the NEW existing digital channels.

I'm all for a dedicated Sports Channel, then we won't have to put up with sport on BBC1 and 2!
