Production Accountant?

Brilliant programme on BBC4 just now....snaps from great interviews between 1955 and 1970. But did you see the first credit to roll at the end of the show? "Production Accountant"?   For a series of edited tapes and films?   Counting the paper cups or the paper clips?  John Birt you have a great deal to answer for. That WOULD make a great interview!

HOWEVER David, the programme did achieve something..... reminding us how terrified some 'famous' people looked and how STUPID many of the interviewers were!
The thought of J Birt oozing his way out of a set piece modern day 'interview' is too terrible to contemplate, and of course would, no doubt,  have the obligatory 'old film ' scratches supered over it!
