Centre House goes "Ugli"
Mar 29th, 2011, 3:51pm

This is taken from a mail-shot sent out by the operators of a section of Centre House:

We are delighted to announce, in association with the BBC, the launch of the new Creative and Media campus in White City, opposite BBC Television centre.

The campus - formerly known as Centre House - has been re-named ‘Ugli' with the accompanying strapline ‘Lovely inside’ reflecting the overriding philosophy that it is very much what’s inside that counts. The key features are the exceptionally low all-inclusive cost of rental space and the creation of a vibrant working environment to establish effective and profitable business collaboration amongst tenant members.

Innovative property  company TCN and leading creative communications agency JPCreative have formed a unique partnership with the BBC to transform the 60,000 sq ft of vacant building into an affordable Creative Campus supporting the growing creative identity of the White City area.

The Media Trust charity is the first organisation to lead the way, re-locating 60 of its staff to the Ugli campus and are already making the most of proximity to BBC and other industry players.

"the growing creative identity of the White City area" Should this not now be the Salford area or has that been cancelled?
