Lord Patten, I think......
Mar 12th, 2011, 7:05pm

What message would you send to Lord Patten?

If you had the chance, what would you say to the new chairman, Lord Patten?

"Members (of the committee) also raised concerns about his "limited" knowledge of the BBC's radio and television output, but said they were "reassured" that he would be able to maintain the independence needed for the role of trust chairman despite his "strong affiliations" to the Conservative Party."

So, members of the forum, what do you want to say to Lord Patten? You have experience, you have served the Corporation for many years.....

here is your chance to 'have your say'...

tell him what you think about the BBC, and the future,

politely, of course.

Give the government back the World Service and S4C to finance.  They are not in the remit of the BBC's charter!

Get the BBC Trust to review the BBC management structure, getting rid of the overpaid dead wood.  I'd like to see a survey of percentage of top managers vs staff cuts.

Get back to the BBC standards we had, think more of the service to the viewer and listener.  Listen more to them and implement what they want.
