There can be few people in the Midlands BBC who were not touched by
the wit and wisdom of Stuart. Like our colleague Barry Lankester who died only a few weeks ago Stuart had to re-learn his 'old' BBC training and adapt into the thrilling,chaotic but ever good intentions of the operation of Local Radio. Those of us who regularly put him and his team to the test were never disappointed and can relate hair-raisng tales of inside and outside broadcasts by the score.
