Steve Rose, a journalist in radio and television news for 26 years, has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.  He's keeping a blog, called Steve's last words, which can found here

Steve was on the Jeremy Vine show on Tuesday September 30.  It's clear from his blog he wasn't very pleased with his performance, but I thought he was good.

The interview can be heard until October 6th on the "Listen Again" service on the BBC Radio website, click here.

The interview lasts for nine minutes.  It starts after 1.43.30 - you can drag the pink bar along the bottom of the player till you get to the right time.
