RED BEE ~ what is happening and who are they?

RED BEE has come up in conversation recently . Who are they and what do they do? I understand it is something to do with uplinks but the pocture is changing so rapidly lately ..who knows! Anyway if you have some infrmation on this strangely named organisation I would appreciate it...

Red Bee (Australian I think) is one of the latest sell offs by the BBC.

Effectively it's the old Presentation dept.  or more commonly called playout in this digital age.

Siemens bought out TVC Engineering (broadly speaking), and then acquired Glasgow Engineers.

SISLink bought TV OBs.
