Special Rates for BBC Magazines (Read 5601 times)

jonesy Ex Member	Special Rates for BBC Magazines Nov 18^th, 2004, 6:11pm Is there still a special rate for BBC Pensioners for subscriptions to BBC Magazines? For the past two years we were offered the annual subscription to 'BBC History' magazine at half the normal price.

Thanks Richard! For the past two years I have been fortunate in getting a discount but this year there didn't seem to be one on offer. I have asked BBC Magazines about it but they said they didn't know of any offers. In the past it was publicised in Prospero but I haven't seen anything this year. How do I get this year's Christmas offer?

Sorry for the delay!

That link gives 25% discount, I'm a bit bemused by their reply to you though!

Only been retired a few months, and I seem to recall the BBC intranet link saying Staff and Pensioners both enjoy a 50% discount, when I took out a Gardeners World sub .

It's not too clear how to actually buy it, but Tesco do a 75% off BBC Mags deal with Clubcard vouchers listing BBC History at 9.75!
