OK, the piece by Forum Administrator said to be from the Guardian saying Mandleson was to be next Chairman was an April Fool.  Who was had?

A natural mistake for anyone to make as surely it was a late (after noon) April Fool joke of the Prime Minister's to say that Beverley Hughes had acted with "courage and integrity"..............
