Tony Larkham

We have received this from a member of his family:-

It is with great sadness to advise Anthony (Tony) Larkham passed away peacefully in Evesham 23rd November aged 75.  Tony began his career at the BBC working as an electrical engineer in transmission in many parts of the British Isles, settling in Evesham with a lecturer post (for transmission) at Wood Norton in 1973, and retiring around 2000.

Tony leaves a legacy of three sons and seven grand children who loved him dearly.

I was always fascinated with what Dad did at Wood Norton, I wondered how someone could know how to operate all that equipment as it looked terribly complicated, but Dad made it all look reasonably easy as well as being a great teacher.  He was certainly an inspiration for the career paths for myself and my brothers took and we will all miss him very much, as will as his colleagues.
