Does anyone know what these initials used to stand for? From a letter from my father to my mother 1945:
"I did the broadcast this morning. It went very well. A lovely cast - on the script marked heavily "secret and confidential". Lots of old friends were there and it was nice in a way to be doing a show from Manchester again. All the PL's and JPL's and canteen staff and commissioners were delighted to see me"
