Paddy O'Keeffe
Jul 23rd, 2020, 4:08pm

Paddy O'Keeffe, who produced From Our Own Correspondent for Radio 4 and the World Service for many years, died on July 21st 2020. She was 83.

Paddy left the BBC at the end of the last century, became Mrs Paddy Powell and lived in Cornwall, her home county. Her husband predeceased her.

Paddy's step son, Patrick Powell, is looking after her affairs. Her funeral will be soon, and because of the pandemic, small. Patrick is planning a Requiem Mass for Paddy some time next year. If any former colleagues or friends would like to attend, would they please contact him via email:
pfg.powell@virgin.net.

Paddy was a lovely woman. When she left the BBC she channelled all her creative energy into making a wonderful Cornish garden, which people came from miles around to admire.
