"Radiotoday" reports that Colin Walters has died.

Colin started at the newly-launched BBC Radio Nottingham in the late 60s. By 1972 he was the station manager.

In 1974 he became Programme Controller at Piccadilly Radio, Manchester where he stayed until 1989.
