I've received information from Chris Allen that Martin Pope (erstwhile member of London Control Room) has sadly passed away.

He developed cancer of the oesophagus a couple of years back which was operated on. Unfortunately he recently developed secondary cancers in his brain ... which have carried him off, sadly.

His funeral will be at Woking Crematory on Oct 4 at 14:00.

Chris adds "I think it would touch Jill if some of the old muckers turned up."
