Yes indeed--commercial radio is in a healthy state AT THE MOMENT.
I doubt though that people tune in to hear a personality.
If you are on the move, for sports( J's key ambition area) it's the info and the results that are most needed and for music -it's the music not the DJ, which is why Spotify and Amazon are so popular for young and old alike.
