1970s' secretaries
Sep 28th, 2018, 5:31pm

I'm looking for anyone who worked as a secretary during the 1970s (and not just at the BBC) who would be interested in sharing reminiscences.  This is for a book to be published in early 2020 by Icon Books.

If this applies to you or anyone you know, please visit this website https://secretariesofthe70s.blogspot.com/ .  Here you can either respond online to a 'questionnaire,' or rather a set of memory prompts; if you prefer it you can read/download the document and email your answers to me.

I hope very much you will enjoy revisiting those days.  I think it's important that we secretaries have the chance to create an accurate record of what it was like.

I enjoyed your previous book "Secret Diary of a 1970s Secretary". I was not a secretary, but I worked in BH from 1961 to 1976 in the studio bookings/production planning areas.
