Keith Bosley
Jun 26th, 2018, 8:01pm

Keith Bosley, an announcer for more than 30 years on the World Service, has died at the age of 81.

As well as being highly regarded for his newsreading, he was a man of letters.  He had won numerous prizes for translating literary works and had published several volumes of poetry.

John Tusa, formerly MD of the World Service, said Keith Bosley was “a perfect example of the huge cultural riches, originality, individualism and variety of Bush House.”

Keith's BBC history and a list of his published works are to be found here in his Wikipedia entry.
