Kuenssberg "Impartiality"
Dec 13th, 2016, 10:54pm

Laura Kuenssberg (BBC Political Editor) was interviewed by "The Press Gazette" recently after she had collected her prize for "Journalist of the Year".

Laura's BBC journey started as a trainee in Newcastle in 2000.
in 2009 she was named chief political correspondent, finally attaining the title BBC Political Editor in late 2015.

The interview in "The Press Gazette", may be read here.

"Her work covering Brexit and the ensuing Tory leadership battle were highlighted by the British Journalism Awards judges who said she “made the story of Brexit her own”."

She said "“I would die in a ditch for the impartiality of the BBC. That’s what we do. And if you go to any country around the world they would say that we were lucky to have it and of course I agree.”"
