Denis Frost, a Radio News reporter and correspondent for many years, has died.
An old-school journalist, totally professional and personally self-effacing, Denis had worked at the Western Gazette, the Western Daily Press and the Guardian before joining the BBC.
At various times he was a reporter on the Today programme, Agriculture Correspondent, Defence Correspondent and a member of the Foreign Affairs Unit.
He had a deep appreciation of classical music, played snooker to a good standard and was a stalwart of the Savile Club.
The funeral will be held at Taunton Deane Crematorium at 1400 on Wednesday 14 December.
