Sadly, I only became aware of Raymond's death today and I am sorry not to have attended his funeral. It was a shock to read of his death on the 15th December 2015.
He was a lovely man, larger than life and brought a joy, when working with him on a production. Notwithstanding, he was a brilliant and talented Costume Designer. I worked with him way back in the mid 1970's when I was the Product Assistant on the BBC's Television Operas, produced and directed by Dr. Brian Large, BBC Music and Arts. La Traviata; The Flying Dutchman; Macbeth, Hansel & Gretel and so on ...

My thoughts are with Raymond's family on this sad day and time ...
