Sorry to hear of the sudden and sad death of Ken. After working in London SMs he came to Birmingham to join Radio Birmingham later WM. He was renowned for his Country Music programme and also considered writing and presenting of all manner of programmes. He was seemingly unflappable and could be relied upon to get colleagues out of unexpected complications in live broadcasts as I know only too well. A very private man whose courtesy and kindness will be remembered by all who met and worked with him.
