BBC Glasgow Reunion
Oct 22nd, 2014, 8:41pm

We have been asked when this year's BBC Glasgow Reunion is going to be held, and where.

Also the enquirer asks how they can get BACK on the mailing list.

Anyone help, please?

Please post a reply here or PM Admin.

Thank you.

Hello everyone,
This is the first call to invite you to this year's get together.
Once again the venue is the  Castle Conservatory at the Crowne Plaza Hotel near Glasgow SECC. We will be gathering on FRIDAY 14th Nov 2014, from 11.45hrs  to approx. 16.00hrs.

The price for the event is £15.00 per head which includes a finger buffet and tea / coffee / orange juice. There's also a cash bar on site.
If you wish to come along, please let us know as soon as possible, by replying to  exbbcreunion@googlemail.com  ( ie. use your "reply" button). This will give us an idea of numbers for catering purposes.

As before, to keep the kitty afoat, when you have said you are coming, please send a cheque made out to STEWART SHEARER at the address below.  You will appreciate that once the hotel have our booking they expect to be paid, no matter what.

From previous experience we are expecting a good turn out. If you know of an ex BBC Scotland employee who would like to attend, please email me with his email address at:  stewart.shearer@ntlworld.com  so I can add him / her to the list.
If you usually contact someone who is not on email, please do so and phone or email me with details.

The Crowne Plaza are doing a "special rate" of £3.00 for their car park (collect voucher at reception). The Science Centre is now charging £5.00 ( just across the footbridge).  The nearest train station is Exhibition and the underground is Kinning Park, although the latter is quite a walk. It's best to enter the hotel by the main entrance; level access can be arranged around the side.

We are very much looking forward to seeing as many as possible on the day. FRIDAY 14th NOV 2014.
