I have learnt via Facebook that sadly Jim Breen (London Control Room) passed away on Tuesday.
The funeral is on 2nd September  at 12:40 at Yeovil Crematorium, Bunford Lane, Yeovil BA20 2EJ.
I have his wife Judith's address. If you would like it please P.M. me.
Judith has requested bright colours and no black ties.

I used to work at LCR at the same time as Jim. He was on A shift and I was on D but when I "floated" across A shift I remember Jim as having   an insatiable sense of humour with frequent outbursts of loud laughter coming from him.

I was on my first live broadcast Friday Night is Music Night as a prog. operations ass. (I think...the title kept changing) and a bit worried I rang up control room to check the proceedure and who answered but Jim! and he was fairly new....but we got away with it
