Clive Lewis-Barclay
Dec 31st, 2013, 10:58am

Clive Lewis-Barclay, who was a senior personnel officer for many years, has died of renal failure at his home in Worcester. He was in his late eighties.
He formerly lived in St. Albans where he served as a magistrate.
A noted opening batsman in his university days, he played in at least one varsity match at Lord's and he was given a special mention in that year's Wisden.
He was a member of MCC and often seen at Lord's test matches until ill health prevented him from attending in 2013.
He was generally well liked by his colleagues both in personnel and the radio newsroom and current affairs at Broadcasting House.
