James was a transmitter engineer who worked all over the North of England and Scotland between C.1957 and 1990. He died in May and his son wishes to write an obituary for Prospero - but he wants to be sure of the year James joined the BBC. Does anyone know? He was at Droitwich in 1959 and possibly Daventry and Anglesey before that.
Perhaps you worked with him?
