Derek "Del" Davis died on Monday 20th May after a long battle with prostate cancer. Derek worked in BBC Graphics from the late 1960s until he took early retirement about 5 years ago. Del was a capgen operator and worked across the whole range of BBC TV output, specialising in Sport throughout the 80s and 90s, and was a regular member of the Grandstand graphics team. His funeral will take place at Mortlake Crematorium on Thursday 6th June at 4.00pm.
